Proptech Australia Announces New Board Members and Strategic Goals for 2025

Proptech Australia, the leading industry body representing the Australian property technology sector, is pleased to announce the appointment of its new board members for 2025.  This transition marks a significant milestone for the organisation as it continues to drive innovation and collaboration within the proptech landscape.

Association president Kylie Davis offered a “huge thank you” to the outgoing board members, whose dedication and contributions have been instrumental in our organisation's growth and success.

Ms Davis said, "I am sorry we are saying farewell to Peter Schravemade, Marie-Anne Lampotang, Cecille Weldon, and Carolyn Trickett Their commitment and passion have laid a strong foundation for Proptech Australia."

Marie-Anne Lampotang was the longest-standing board member and the former Treasurer and Secretary. Ms Davis said her unwavering commitment and practical approach had been invaluable, and her “foundational work in establishing the association is immeasurable”.

Former vice-president Peter Schravemade brought extensive industry knowledge and advocacy for the real estate sector. His ability to connect and network has significantly enhanced Proptech Australia's reach, said Ms Davis.

Carolyn Trickett's leadership in representing commercial proptech and building connections within the sector, particularly through JLL Spark, had been “pivotal”. Her dedication to fostering collaboration would be “greatly missed”.

Ms Davis also said Cecille Weldon's tireless efforts to launch the Proptech Energy Efficiency Features standard, and working on the recent rebranding to Proptech Australia “has been transformative”. Her advocacy at the government level had positioned the association as “a key voice in national housing conversations”.
